Responsibilities
- onitor the operation of plant equipment including wells, turbines, generators, and systems through control systems and visual inspection
- Adjust parameters to optimize performance and ensure safety
- Respond to alarms and operational deviations
Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance (lubrication, cleaning, inspection)
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements
- Support repair of well equipment and geothermal heat pumps (if applicable)
Installation and Testing:
- Assist with installation, wiring, and plumbing of new equipment
- Test and calibrate systems
- Support installation/testing of geothermal heat pumps as needed
Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and repairs
- Track equipment inventory and maintenance history
- Prepare performance and status reports
HSEQ
- Follow HSEQ procedures and all safety regulations
- Use PPE as required and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Comply with environmental procedures
Compliance
- Follow company policies and SOPs
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations
Other Duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education/Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent (electrical engineering or industrial technology)
- Work Experience: 5 years’ experience in geothermal power plant systems, equipment, and operations
- IT Skills: Ability to work with and maintain computer control systems
- Language: Fluent in English and Swahili

1. Operational Management
