Description
Our client, a global leader in the paint industry, is looking to hire a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead sales and business development efforts in Kenya.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities through various trade channels, distribution partners, and strategic alliances, while also developing innovative approaches to expand both existing and new markets. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the paint sector.

- Manage all large and strategically important clients, ensuring enhanced client satisfaction.
- Responsible for sales and strategy implementation in the African region (Including support to the license partner in Kenya)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets and establish strategic relations with key decision makers
- Meet potential clients to promote the business through understanding their business needs and aspirations.
- Provide support to Head of Department in setting up of the Short & Long term plans, forecasting, pricing, discounts, schemes for the overall functioning of the Department in line with the organizational mission and vision.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance client experience, by simplifying and streamlining all internal end to end client management and operation processes.
- Liaise with Commercial / Technical Contractors and promote the products and ensure their agreement / approval.
Qualifications:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience in Sales and Business Development within the Paint or Construction industries
- Travel as applicable within the African region to attend various seminars, and events and Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
- Able to cope up with stress as working under deadlines.
- Active “hands-on” sales approach with high level of energy
- Highly motivated and results orientated person, perseverant, able to work with limited daily supervision.
