Our ideal candidate would have:

Experience & Qualifications

  • BS Engineering degree or equivalent expert level in Electrical and Electronics, with a strong focus on digital electronics. Knowledge of IoT devices would be beneficial.
  • Some experience working in embedded electronics development & testing environment would be preferred
  • Some experience developing embedded microcontroller systems including firmware development would be preferred
  • Experience in understanding and and developing wiring schematics is required
  • Some experience in electronics diagnostics and debugging would be preferred
  • Ability to perform independent test & measurement activities
  • Experience of data analysis and presentation using common tools such as Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint is required
  • Experience in conceptualisation and prototyping of electronic systems is essential
  • Some experience utilizing Python, AWS IoT and Linux would be ideal
  • You have demonstrated an ability to learn continuously, work autonomously, and make decisions

Skills & Attitude

    • Demonstrated ability to independently define, manage and execute technical projects
    • You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives
    • Systems thinker with an intuitive understanding of the capabilities and limitations of electric vehicle systems.
    • Strong technical communication skills in order to properly communicate complex insights into frameworks for engineering and management decision-making.
    • Roll up your sleeves and get it done
    • You are hardworking, highly organized, a great team player, you pay attention to details and are a lot of fun to work with

  • Any other work relevant to vehicle electronics as defined by the vehicle engineering manager and relevant engineers in the department

BasiGo is currently looking for a dynamic, results driven individual to join us as a Vehicle Electronics Engineer. For this role, we are looking for engineers with a specific background in Digital electronics, CAN-bus systems. The Vehicle Electronics Engineer will be responsible for design, analysis, verification and validation of the vehicle electronic systems.
