CAREER OBJECTIVE

To perform my duty to the best of my knowledge, observe sanitation in my working environment that cancan enhance faster healing of patients, protection of patients and their property and ensuring that their privacy and confidentiality is highly observed.

I am a principled and self-motivated hardworking individual, knowledgeable with good interpersonal communication, I am equipped with good practical skills and I can work under minimal supervision

I am looking forward for an opportunity to develop my skis so that I can achieve my career dreams as the institution meets its goals and objectives.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Health education of patients on how to prevent minor illnesses like good diet, hygiene and visiting the doctor whenever they have problems with their health.
• Allaying patients anxiety through counseling especially those whose condition is to last  a life time.
• Monitoring and supervising my subordinates to ensure that the daily routine is duly adhered to and accomplished.
• Ensuring that the hospital property is safe and also sundries and other consumables are requisitioned and accounted for appropriately.
• Timely administration of drugs to patients as prescribed.
• Ensuring that the environment where the patients is clean
• Guiding patients and making them understand the general flow chart of the hospital.
• Participating in the daily ward rounds and helping the Drs where necessary
• Preparation of patients for theatre and ensuring that the right eyes to be operated are marked, consent formed duly signed,
• Taking and recording of patients vital signs.
