Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care, education, and counseling for expectant mothers.
- Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health during pregnancy and childbirth.
- Offer postpartum care and education to new mothers.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Promote breastfeeding and educate families about infant care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Requirements
- Diploma in Midwifery or Bachelor of Science in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- K.C.S.E C Plain and above.
- Valid practice license & registered with Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a midwifery role.
- ACLS & BLS certifications from a recognized institution
- Certificate in Computer applications
- Strong knowledge of obstetric care and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
General Nurses
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Perform routine assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and physical examinations.
- Assist in administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and available resources.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond to patients’ needs promptly and provide emotional support during their treatment.
Requirements
- Diploma in Community Health Nursing from recognized institution KRCHN,
- KRM, KRN or BSc in Nursing
- K.C.S.E C Plain and above
- ACLS & BLS certifications from a recognized institution
- Certificate in Computer applications
- Valid practice license & registered with Nursing Council of Kenya
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a nursing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a dynamic healthcare environment.
