Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Waiting on customers when they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Arranging and preparing food and drinks service in a proper and hygienic manner.
  • Preparing and organizing the restaurant for service.
  • Removing used dishes, glasses, and flatware from tables.
  • Maintaining familiarity with menu items and canteen information.
  • Always maintaining good hygiene and personal cleanliness.
  • Should have the ability to identify, report and correct hazards.
  • Ensuring all work is done in a manner which enhances the safety of the work environment.
  • Performing any other duty assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • KCSE Certificate with a mean grade of D+.
  • Certificate in food and beverage production and service or its equivalent from a recognized institution. iii. 3 years’ experience in an institution of higher learning, star rated hotel or comparable organization.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Above 25 years.
  • Active individual with good public relations.
