THE ROLE PURPOSE (LINK TO OVERALL BUSINESS OBJECTIVES, EG. ARRP)

A Product Performance Analyst plays a key role in aligning product outcomes with business goals by using data to drive smarter decisions. They help boost revenue by analyzing product uptake and customer behavior, reduce costs by identifying inefficiencies, and enhance customer experience through journey insights. Their work informs strategic decisions, supports regulatory compliance, and ensures that banking products digitally or physically are optimized for performance, growth, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data on various business processes, financial performance, market trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting: Creating reports and dashboards that summarize findings and present them to stakeholders, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Performance Metrics: Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of different business areas.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve overall business performance.
  • Collaboration: Working with different departments, such as finance, marketing, and operations, to understand their performance challenges and support them in achieving their goals.
  • Forecasting: Using historical data and market trends to make forecasts about future business performance and help inform strategic planning.

  • Financial: Provide monthly product performance reports with insights to guide Business decisions
  • People: Manage a team of ELPs on data Analytics and review reports from them. Work closely with BI team to ensure product dashboards are precise and provide insightful metrics on performance.
  • Processes: Adhere to Product House Process and procedures mitigating any risks laid down.
  • Systems: Ensure platforms and systems used for data analytics are readily available and UpToDate
  • Customers/Clients: Work closely with internal clients who are users of reporting dashboards- train and continuously

This includes managing a team of engineers to build scalable RESTful APIs, application  logic, and integrations with internal and external systems to deliver efficient card services to customers

Job Purpose
