Description

To assess and prudently underwrite General Business in commercially sound terms and to ensure that all underwriting and documentation duties in the section operate effectively and efficiently.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess business risk proposal (Accept/Reject Risk) on the basis of existing underwriting guidelines;
- Issue quotations as per guidelines and within the TATs
- Prepare tender and prequalification documentations as per guidelines and within the TATs
- Attend to online tenders and prequalification documents as per guidelines and within the TATs
- Requisition and good maintenance of departmental stationery and equipment
- Ensure that CIC renewable tender documents remain current always
- Processing of departmental payments such as dues to service providers and tender purchases
- Provide fortnightly quotation conversion reports
- Provide monthly intelligence reports on prevailing rates
- Service to all customers within a reasonable time
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications
- Diploma in relevant field / Relevant technical training certificate / part qualification in relevant professional field
Professional Qualifications
Experience
- Up to one (1) years’ relevant experience
