TDB Group Internship Programme 2026
OBJECTIVE
The Trade and Development Bank Group (TDB Group) is an innovative African multilateral development finance group with world-class governance and strong development impact through financing projects, infrastructure and trade mainly in its member states. TDB Group operating region includes 26 African sovereign states. TDB Group plays a key role in supporting trade growth and in attracting capital to the African continent by positioning itself as a financial bridge within the continent.
TDB Group actively seeks diversity in the various engagement opportunities available in its Member States by providing an Internship Program for students from member states in 2026. The internship programme aims to provide students with short-term structured learning opportunities through practical work assignments that are designed to complement their studies and/or improve their employability. It also provides an opportunity to tap into new ideas and perspectives that may support the Group in meeting its organizational objectives. For the student, the internship program is an opportunity to gain practical work experience in their specific field of study or career aspirations. Students would be exposed to in-depth knowledge of the DFI sector and gain an understanding of TDB Group vision, mission, and scope of activities. Interns would be equipped with skills that are necessary to perform in the labour market and thereby increase employability. However, internship does not guarantee employment at TDB Group.
DURATION
Internship assignments may vary in length depending on the availability and academic requirements of the intern, as well as the Group’s needs.
