Duties and Responsibilities

• Product Owner: Through collaboration synthesize and define product requirements. Understand the end users’ needs and keep them central to the product design. Collaborate with market research, lab team, software engineers, and product design to answer all the critical questions. You will also work in collaboration with the senior team to ensure the product vision, business model and product design are well aligned. Strategize on new products and product lifecycles, with supporting evidence.

• Leadership: Contribute to the hiring strategy to develop the necessary capabilities in our team. Direct various disciplines supporting product development.
• Discover New Technology: Through research and testing become an expert in leading-edge cooking technology. Guide the team in developing new handwear or software solutions.
• Integration with other products: Ensure that product designs incorporate other hardware and software systems. Working with the software, hardware, and product engineering team to refine and seamlessly integrate this functionality into the product design.
• Partnerships: Research and develop relationships with suppliers and vendors around the world. Identify manufacturing equipment.
• Product Engineering: Guide product engineering by directing the engineer’s team as well as performing engineering tasks as needed. Check and sign off on designs following best practices.
• Production Design: Working with production and operations teams to develop product strategy and design. Manage aspects of the production design to ensure product launch success.

Skills and Experience

• 5+ Years Experience in product development or engineering complex electronic products or software.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills –mastery of conveying complex quantitative information clearly and concisely.
• 3+ years of Project Management experience: expertise in project management and demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects with many stakeholders to deliver results on time
• Relevant experience coordinating with several teams and stakeholders.
• Highly Organized: Experience managing large projects with project management software such as MS Projects, Jira, Slack, or Smartsheet.
• Experience with established project management methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, Lean, or Six Sigma.
• Bachelor’s Degree from University in Engineering, computer science, or software engineering is a plus.
• Excellent English language skills
