Major Tasks & Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities will include;

• This role has a heavy bias towards execution of consultancy tasks ranging from drafting of strategic/business plans, economic surveys, research and other technical management consulting work including training preparation and delivery.
• Developing tender/bid documents and other related materials and reports.
• Conducting field work including coordinating data collection work.
• Analysing data to feed into reports.
• Attending presentations/client meetings.
• Client relations management with support from the country partners, Business Partners and other members of senior management.

The ideal candidate(s) will run with various consultancy projects, managing both the technical (drafting the reports, managing field data collection and analysis) and client relations aspects from start to finish.

Other Roles and Responsibilities;

• Scanning online and other sources for new projects/tenders.
• Supporting business/country partners in building networks of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and oversee business growth projects.
• Backstopping administrative work and logistics.
• Attending official meetings & other forums.
• Other tasks incidental thereto.

Qualifications

1. At least a bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (business studies, policy, HR, administration etc.)
2. A Masters’ Degree in a relevant field (Preferable, not a must).
3. 5-7 years’ work experience in management consulting, preferably with the big 4 or other leading management consulting firm.
4. Skills & Competencies;
   • Ability to run with projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
   • Excellent report writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suites.
