Senior Business Manager (HR) Job
Job Purpose Statement
Reporting directly to the Group Director, HR & Culture, the role acts as a Chief of Staff and trusted thought partner. The role is responsible for driving the execution of key HR strategic priorities, ensuring effective coordination across the HR Senior Leadership Team (HR SLT), and leading high-visibility, cross-functional projects. The role manages the HR strategic calendar, monthly and quarterly business reviews, preparation of executive-level presentations (including board packs), and ensures timely and outcome-focused delivery of people-related transformation initiatives. The role is also accountable for creating momentum, alignment, and performance across HR’s enterprise-wide agenda while fostering a high-performance, agile, and collaborative culture
Responsibilities
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized accredited university.
- Masters degree will be an added advantage.
Professional:
- At least 10 years’ experience in HR/Business related area, 3 of which should have been in a management capacity in a similar sized organisation.
- Completed or ongoing CHRP certification is an added advantage
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
Desired work experience:
- Proven track record in building and implementing initiatives from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple high-stakes projects, ideally in a matrixed or fastpaced environment.
- Good understanding of financial management.
- Sound working knowledge and understanding of all labour regulations and practices.
