Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
Job Type: Full-Time.
Salary Budget (gross per month): KES 80,000 – 100,000
Job Description
Our client in the ICT industry is a leading systems integrator delivering comprehensive technology solutions across the hospitality, commercial, and real estate sectors. Renowned for enhancing operational efficiency, user experience and return on investment, the company is at the forefront of intelligent infrastructure developmentThey are seeking results-driven Sales Associates to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales for ICT and ELV solutions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong B2B sales experience, technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering value to clients in a dynamic, fast-paced market. The role will be based out of Nairobi with potential travel within Sub-Saharan Africa.
Responsibilities
ales Target Achievement
- Revenue Generation: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual individual sales targets set in alignment with the company’s business goals.
- Goal Tracking: Monitor personal performance metrics and develop action plans to close any gaps.
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of leads through proactive prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and attendance at networking or industry events.
- Client Outreach: Initiate and follow up on sales opportunities to expand market presence and client base.
Client Engagement & Solution Presentation
- Client Needs Assessment: Conduct in-person or virtual meetings with potential clients to understand their requirements and business challenges.
- Proposal Development: Develop customized sales presentations and commercial proposals that align with the client’s needs and showcase relevant ICT and ELV solutions.
Technical & Commercial Bid Coordination
- Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the presales and technical teams to develop accurate and compelling technical and commercial bid documentation.
- Proposal Submission: Ensure all proposals, RFQs (Requests for Quotation), and RFPs (Requests for Proposal) are submitted accurately and within stipulated deadlines.
CRM and Reporting
- Sales Activity Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system, capturing all lead activity, follow-ups, meeting notes, and sales stages.
- Weekly Sales Reporting: Submit detailed weekly reports outlining sales pipeline progress, client interactions, and feedback from the market.
Market Intelligence & Relationship Building
- Market Monitoring: Stay informed on evolving market trends, competitor offerings, and potential business opportunities to inform strategic sales planning.
- Client Relationship Management: Represent the company at key industry events and cultivate strong, long-term client relationships based on trust, service quality, and responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, ICT, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in ICT, ELV, or technical solutions.
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
- Strong understanding of ICT/ELV systems is a significant advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.
