Summary

We are looking for a Retail Sales Lead to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. You will recommend our products based on customer wants, explain the benefits of merchandise, answer questions, and demonstrate how products work.

The Retail Sales Lead will be based in allocated geographic sales territories and occasionally at the factory in Kikuyu.

The Retail sales lead will be responsible for:

• Maintain a positive relationship with the outlet to ensure ease of activation and a win-win business relationship.
• Analyze the market and identify key outlets for success in selling Booch and Grounded products into the Kenyan market.
• Provide market information and reports on the performance of customers, brands, and competition to ensure that the sales team is fully informed.
• Provide timely weekly reports on successes, failures, and corrective actions required.
• Driving sales with product knowledge and market-driven enthusiasm.
• Maintaining presentable and in-stock conditions of assigned sections of the store.
• Cross-selling merchandise and services.
• Establishing trust relationships with customers.
• Assisting with physical inventory counts.
• Monitoring loss prevention activities.
• Ensuring racks are fully stocked

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Lead, Sales Associate, or similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
• Proven track record of over-achieving sales quota.
• BSc in Marketing or related fields is a plus.
