As the resort supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of the resort and for effectively managing employees.

Duties and Responsibilities;

• Recruiting, training, and supervising staff.
• Developing and managing budgets together with management.
• Designing & planning menus
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene, and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
• Promoting and marketing the business to individual and corporate customers.
• Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
• Producing staff rotations.
• Greeting and advising customers while handling customer inquiries and complaints, taking reservations.
• Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
• Assessing and improving profitability as well as keeping statistical and financial records.
• Setting targets for the restaurant team and ensuring they are all met and delivered.
• Handling administration and paperwork.
• Liaising with customers, employees and suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.
• Making improvements to the running of a profitable business and developing restaurant.

Minimum Qualifications;

• Minimum a Diploma in hospitality, hotel management, culinary arts etc.
• Minimum 3 years previous restaurant experience.
• Prior work as a manager or supervisor.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Training in food safety
• Experience with long shifts will be an added advantage.
• IT literacy.
• Financial literacy.
