Our client, a dynamic company that delivers an environmentally friendly solution to Agriculture and Horticulture sectors is seeking to recruit a Project Manager. The successful candidate with design, implement and lead the project on Food crop production in Nyabihu District Western Province of Rwanda. The ideal candidate Must have In-depth knowledge of food production principles and practices in Rwanda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the project team.
• Develop project work plans and ensure timely implementation of the project activities in line with overall work plans and activity schedules.
• Develop a training curriculum and manage training plans.
• Manage the deliverables of the product distribution plan.
• Supervise field activities to ensure increased yield and crop quality.
• Liaise with local government for alignment with their priorities and legislation.
• Management of project budgets and accounting.
• Compilation of data and results for analysis and reporting.

Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, or other relevant agricultural studies.
• In-depth knowledge of food crop production principles and practices.
• Experienced in agriculture-focused projects or management.
• Proven planning and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical ability, able to evaluate and to appraise critically quantitative and qualitative information.
• Computer literacy with MS Office and MS Outlook.
• Fluent in English.
