Principal Quantity Surveyor Job
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for county construction projects.
- Analyze architectural drawings and specifications to determine quantities.
- Conduct tender evaluations and recommend winning bids.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and report on variances.
- Certify contractor claims and recommend payments.
- Advise on procurement strategies for capital projects.
- Ensure compliance with public procurement and building standards.
- Maintain cost databases and produce periodic cost reports.
