Responsibilities

As a Mid-Career Pathfinder, you will be our members’ thought partners, advisors, guides, connectors and greatest cheerleaders. By partnering with them to map out their ambitions and connecting them to life-changing opportunities, you will put your efforts and passion into helping our members build careers that define their legacy. Similarly to talent agents with sports stars and celebrities, you will be walking alongside your members throughout their whole professional career.
In this role, you will be at the core of The Room’s impact. While managing a portfolio of 300 members, you will help them access the most exciting and career propelling opportunities. From employment, mentorship, coaching, public speaking engagements to access to investor capital funds and business partnering, your role will be to accelerate our members' development journey towards achieving their life’s mission.
The pathfinder role is a dynamic one that will challenge you to exercise a broad set of skills on daily basis. On one day you might find yourself leading one on one conversations with your members, providing continuous support and guidance, channeling your inner coach. While on the next day, you will need to show up as a forward thinker and innovator who can easily connect the dots between members’ aspirations and The Room’s offerings, scouting relevant opportunities, events and resources that would benefit them.
You will be an internal and external community builder; You will be at the forefront of many organisational interdependencies and will work closely with other internal teams to ensure streamlined communication lines and processes are in place. You will also actively drive member interactions to help build a strong community by facilitating a dialogue between them so that their mutual benefit guides them towards fulfilling their respective objectives.
In this role you will have the opportunity to display creativity, innovation, thoughtfulness and your customer-centred spirit to ensure we design a highly personalised experience that delights our members throughout the year. You will also be in charge of developing feedback loops capturing relevant information to continuously improve member experience and the quality of service delivered; All of that while designing and managing a highly automated and extensive information management platform to maximise your productivity and efficiency.
