Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable Medical Officer to manage our medical services, health providers team and to support hospital growth plans.
Responsibilities
- Practice management of Beacon of Hope, Hospital business and programs in a technology driven environment.
- Provide Leadership and Strategic Management of Hospital inpatient and outpatient services.
- Management of Health Community Outreach Services
- Ensure quality controls and assurance of business and programs to sustain highest quality of care to customers.
- Ensure Human Resource Management and development through mentorship and coaching of the team and medical students
- Financial administration – Practice financial acumen in managing strategic plan budgets; program budgets and fund deployment. Prudent Procurement of commodities.
- Administrative duties and risk management – Ensuring compliance with National healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Medicine & Surgery from a recognized University.
- More than three years working post internship experience.
- Must be Registered / Licensed by the Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board.
- General competencies in Obstetrics, Pediatrics, medical, surgical, Outpatient care.
- Competency and certification in emergency procedures e.g., ACLS, BLS, ATLS etc. will be an added advantage.
- Excellent public relations and communication skills.
Must have a professional Indemnity cover. - Proficiency in computer systems; Observational and analytical skills; Compassionate skills & Team player.
- Advanced knowledge of medical research methodology and ethics. Ability to keep abreast of advancements in the health field.
