Key Roles and Responsibilities for the position

• Oversee the rigging and movement of objects into hard-to-access areas, such as passageways and engine rooms, taking into account nearby structures, obstacles, pathways and work surfaces
• Work daily to provide hoisting engineers, crane operators and all other necessary personnel with guidance by utilizing various means of communication and technology, such as hand signals and radios

Qualification

• At least five years of rigging experience, preferable sugar processing plant
• Knowledge of the latest rigging safety requirements (including rigging gear inspection standards) and practices
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• Certificate in rigging operation.
