Job Summary

The marketing manager position holder is responsible for the promotion and positioning of the ABNO brand by ensuring that the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retaining the existing clients.

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the Business Development Manager to execute business and marketing plans and to develop corporate leads, contacts, presentations, and proposal packages.
  2. Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies for all the products.
  3. Analysing market data and trends of the industry in Kenya and the region and preparing forecasts.
  4. Generating new business leads.
  5. Oversee the content creation, and generally manage the content creators.
  6. Work closely with the sales team to close on market leads.
  7. Analyse customer behaviour and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
  8. Developing strategies to increase brand awareness.
  9. Increase market share by coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, customer experience, and technical departments.
  10. Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
  11. Overseeing and carry out branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns and reporting on the outcomes of the marketing activities carried out.
  12. Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to management.
  13. Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events.

Knowledge, skills and experience required

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
  2. A master's degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.
  3. At least two years' experience as a marketing manager.
  4. Proficiency in software marketing.
  5. Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  6. Excellent public relations skills
  7. Research and report writing skills
