Key Accountabilities/Resposibilities
Control full end to end import process on all SKUs in eas Africa
Overview of communications with the Bank, Forwarding Agents and Regulatory for Seamless import and export documentation
Ensure all Tariff and duties are correctly classified and paid accordingly
Ensure end to end process is maintained on Imported SKUs specifically supply planning and clearing
Ensure end to end process is maintained on locally produced SKUs specifically stock availability at the warehouse
To Manage portfolio at target customer service levels by holding optimum stock levels considering the Best-in-Class S&OP process
Provide Freight in Solutions, evaluation of costs to drive budget adherence and cost reduction and drive operational efficiency in the FI and Export freights
Vehicle utilization fr outbound deliveries contained utilization for Imports
SLA setup with all service providers and KPIs managed within terms of the agreement
Pack Fill rate, OTD and logistics-related Credit Notes
manage product life cycle and ensure no write-offs
Maintain KEBS, PPB, PCPB & Other regulatory key Documentations for East Africa
Collaborate with external stakeholders- Factories'Freight forwarder/Agents, Regulatory bodies, shipping lines etc as the need arise to ensure smooth export processing
Skills And Professional Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or any other business-related field
5+ years of experience working in logistics, Warehousing and freight Management preferably in FMCG, Logistics Multinational Companies
Must be a Registered Pharmacist with Pharmacy & Poisons Board
Advanced in Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease
