AFIDEP is a regional non-profit research and policy Institute whose mission is to institutionalize a culture of consistent use of evidence in public policy formulation and implementation to address various development challenges in Africa. Our work focuses on five thematic areas namely: Population Dynamics and Demographic Dividend, Health and Wellbeing. Transformative Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate Change, and Governance and Accountability.
The Institute is registered as a Non-Governmental Organisation in Kenya and Malawi where it has offices and in the USA as a 5013 non-profit organization.

Job details:
• The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership and be responsible for the development and implementation of the Human Resources strategies, plans policies and procedures ensuring that they remain pertinent, innovative and consistent to AFIDEP's mission. The job holder will provide functional guidance and advice to staff and management on human resources and related organisational initiatives

Job requirements:
• Applicants should have an MBA in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Organisational development, have at least 5 years' experience in an HR management position in a multicultural, multi-ethnic environment (eg international NGOs) and possess strong HR analytics skills as well as Advisory and people management skills.
