Description
The Head of Student Affairs is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects related to student life, student welfare, and extracurricular activities within the college. This includes providing leadership in addressing student concerns, supporting academic and personal development, and fostering a positive and inclusive campus culture. The role ensures the delivery of services that support students’ well-being and success during their academic journey. Additionally, the Head of Student Affairs is responsible for ensuring that Continuous Assessment Tests (CATs) and final exams are issued on time, CAT marks are entered promptly, students receive their transcripts and certificates, the graduation ceremony is successfully overseen, and clinical placements are arranged and managed effectively.

Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in student affairs or related roles within a higher education setting, preferably in a medical or health sciences environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing student programs and services.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with a diverse student population.
- Proficiency in crisis intervention and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of student development theories and best practices in student affairs.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a medical school or health sciences educational setting.
- Familiarity with accreditation standards relevant to medical education.
- Certification in counseling or student affairs administratio
