Description
Our client, a leading and innovative horticulture company in Kenya, is looking to hire a Group Learning and Performance Manager.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new Learning & Development and Performance Management initiatives across the organization’s portfolio of companies.
Responsibilities
- Learning & Development: Spearheaded the development of a new L&D system, including drafting a comprehensive policy and procedures manual, and redesigning both companywide and technical training content for rollout by HR and Farm Managers.
- Performance Management: Established a new performance management framework by creating a policy and procedures manual, and leading the companywide rollout and socialization of the system to ensure alignment and adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong expertise in Learning & Development, with proven leadership of L&D functions.
- Solid experience in Performance and Project Management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a corporate environment, ideally within organizations of 2,000+ employees.
- Prior experience in the agriculture sector is an added advantage.
- Excellent written communication, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- Highly organized, self-confident, and conscientious, with strong task-prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently to farm sites as required.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in all responsibilities.
