Our client a 4-star hotel is currently looking to hire a Food and Beverage Manager to be based in Mombasa.

Responsibilities

• Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Design exceptional menus, purchase good and continuously make necessary improvements
• Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all their concerns
• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel
• Establish target KPIs, schedules, policies and procedures
• Provide a two-way communication and nature an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Report on management regarding sales results and productivity

Qualifications

• Degree in hospitality or related field
• Proven work experience in 4-5 star hotels as a Food and Beverage Manager with more than 5 years of experience in the F&B
• Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software –POS)
• Well reserved in material control and liaising with cost controlling
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven food and beverage management experience
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
• Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
• Guest-oriented and service-minded
