Basic Salary Scale: Ksh. 22,270 – Ksh. 30,020 p.m. (Job Group ‘G’)
Allowances as per the SRC circulars attached to the position
Terms of service: Permanent and Pensionable
For appointment to this position, a candidate must:
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Have a Certificate in a course lasting not less than two (2) years in either Fisheries Management, Natural Resource Management or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution;
- Be proficient in computer application skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
An officer at this level will work under the guidance of an experienced officer.
Duties and responsibilities will entail:
- Participating in provision of fisheries extension services;
- Collecting fisheries statistical data;
- Maintaining fish farms and hatcheries; and
- Assisting in ensuring hygienic fish landing sites, market and farms.
