We seek to hire a Financial Analyst tasked with providing management with information for decision making, manage company inventory and lead a team of procurement executives within  finance department.

Responsibilities 

• Maintain accurate and complete product information in the ERP system.  ∙ Review and approve costing for new products for pricing decisions.
• Review and approve trade supplier bookings and reconciliations thereon. ∙ Review and Approve trade GRN accounts reconciliation.
• Recommend to the Head of Finance prices for the new products and periodic offers.  ∙ Analyze and maintain optimal levels of company inventories.
• Analyze and report on product gross margins
• Assist in creating and maintaining SLAs / Contracts for all the trade suppliers. ∙ Review the negotiated product acquisition costs and credit terms.
• Deliver performance objectives set. Institute immediate corrective action where  performance is below par.
• Proactively manage own learning and development
• Adhere to annual leave plan agreed with line manager
• Adhere to HR policies in the management of employees and maintain a conducive working environment.

Requirements 

• Must be a graduate with B.Sc. Accounting or Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) ∙ Must be a CPA-K / ACCA registered member of good standing
• Must possess excellent analytical skills
•  Must be an excellent communicator
•  Must understand basic Supply Chain Processes
•  Must be ICT proficient – Advanced Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) & ERP knowledge -intermediary
• Proven track record of problem-solving skills
• 5 Years’ experience in costing preferably from the retail sector
