Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer - Procurement Officer located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves overseeing the procurement of electrical components, managing supplier relationships, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with the engineering team to support power distribution and systems design.

Qualifications

• Electrical Design and Engineering skills
• Knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Procurement and supplier management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., PE license) is a plus
• Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
• Knowledge of Electricity, Power Distribution, and Power Systems
• Experience in procurement activities related to electrical engineering projects
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
• Knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution
• Experience in Power Systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• BOQ and Project Estimation skills

• Purchase Orders and Procurement skills
• Strong knowledge of ERP system.

• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience - 5 Years plus in the Electrical or MEP Company/Field.
• AutoCAD / Revit knowledge.
• In depth knowledge of Electrical Items.
