Job Purpose:

1. To collect and deliver milk and milk products from one facility to another for production and/or distribution

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Driving the Company vehicle as authorized
2. Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments
3. Recognizing and reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles
4. Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road
5. Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles
6. Overseeing transport management
7. Preparing and submitting reports on transport when need arises; and
8. Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods therein.
9. Any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

Qualifications and Personal Specifications

1. At least served in the grade of Driver for at least four (4) years
2. Minimum KCSE D (Plain) or its equivalent
3. The Occupational Trade Test II Certificate OR its Equivalent
4. A valid driving license Category (BCE) free from any current endorsements(s) for
5. classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive.
6. A defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association of Kenya (AA) or its equivalent qualification from any other recognized institution.
7. A valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
8. A First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. Johns
9. Ambulance or any other recognized institution.
10. An accident-free driving period of 5 years.
