Description

Responsibilities
- Execute accurate electronic palletization of cargo within CargoWise for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Translate physical cargo plans into compliant digital pallet records.
- Collaborate with operations teams, B&P, OKAM, and documentation teams to ensure seamless information and cargo flow.
- Countercheck shipment dimensions, weights, and quantity details for proper ULD loading and maximum utilization.
- Support air freight and sea freight operations by ensuring cargo is palletized according to airline/carrier and customer specifications.
- Maintain clean, auditable records of pallet details within the CargoWise system.
- Resolve data inconsistencies between physical cargo and system records with other departments and the Netherlands office.
- Ensure alignment with IATA, airline, and freight compliance guidelines related to cargo build-up.
- Participate in system audits and process improvement initiatives involving digital cargo handling.
Requirements
- General knowledge of CargoWise operations.
- Understanding of cargo handling, ULD types, etc. in both air and sea freight.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a high-pressure and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- “O” Level (KCSE C+)
- Further training on/possession of any relevant commercial course/aviation course (preferably export documentation) will be an added advantage.
