Creative Designer
The Assistant Designer will work closely with the Senior Designer and the Brand, Marketing & Communication team in developing, directing, and executing visual, audio, and multimedia materials for advertising, internal communications, digital platforms, and print media.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborative Design Work
Provide day-to-day design support for marketing campaigns, digital content, social media, print collateral, and internal presentations.
Respond promptly to ad-hoc or walk-in design requests and support project-specific creative needs.
Creative Development
Support in crafting of high-quality, brand-aligned visual content across print and digital platforms.
Design engaging visual assets including social media graphics, banners, ads, reports, and event materials.
Assist in adapting and resizing existing design templates for various uses.
Contribute to the development of infographics, branded documents, and internal communication materials.
Maintain visual consistency and uphold Zamara’s design standards across all outputs.
Multimedia & Motion Design
Assist in creating multimedia assets such as animations, GIFs, and short videos for digital channels.
Perform basic video and audio editing for internal and external use.
Retouch and edit photos for web and print publication.
Project Support
Manage multiple design tasks, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Actively collaborate with stakeholders to efficiently incorporate feedback and iterate on the project.
Support video and photo shoots, including lighting setup, composition, and on-site coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related creative field, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing a range of work.
2–3 years of experience in a graphic design or visual communication role.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Products, Apps, and Services.
Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills.
Copywriting ability for captions, headlines, or content layout is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of photography and videography techniques is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering polished, on-brand work.
A proactive team player who is eager to learn, contribute ideas, and grow within a creative environment.
