Description
The Municipal Manager shall be the Administrative Head of the Municipality of Kilgoris.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement the decisions and functions of the Municipal Board.
- Responsible for proper conduct of executive and administrative work and affairs of the Municipality.
- Attend all the municipal Board meetings.
- Mark reports and recommendations to the Municipal Board.
- Administer and enforce all Municipality by - laws and other directives .
- Encourage and support regional and InterGovernmental Cooperation.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Municipal Board.
Requirements for Appointment
The Municipal Manager shall
- Be a citizen of Kenya.
- Hold a degree from a university recognized in Kenya or its equivalent.
- Have served and had proven experience in administration or management either in public or private sector fora term of at least five years.
- Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
