Business Manager– Water Bottling Job

• Location: Muhoroni, Kisumu County, Kenya
• Reports to: Business Owner

Job Purpose

To lead daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure product quality in a small-scale water bottling company. The role requires a hands-on manager who can oversee production, grow sales, and ensure smooth delivery to customers.

Daily Operations

• Supervise the water bottling process (purification, bottling, sealing, packaging).
• Monitor equipment use and ensure basic maintenance is done.
• Manage inventory of raw materials (caps, bottles, labels, etc.).

Sales & Customer Service

• Grow customer base through door-to-door, retail, and bulk sales.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries, and payments.
• Build good relationships with clients (shops, homes, offices, schools).

Staff Supervision

• Oversee a small team of machine operators, loaders, and delivery staff.
• Support training and motivation of the team.

Basic Financial Oversight

• Track daily sales and expenses.
• Ensure cost control on water, electricity, and supplies.
• Submit weekly performance and sales reports to the owner.

Quality & Compliance

• Make sure water meets safety standards.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness in the production area.
• Keep licenses and health inspections up to date.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, ICT, Sales, or Production Management (preferred but not required).
• At least 3–5 years of work experience, ideally in FMCG, retail, or production.
• Experience in water bottling, food production, or small business management is a plus.
