Description
- The job holder will be responsible for ensuring area sales revenues are continuously enhanced to maximize returns on investment.
Responsibilities
- Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and marketing expense controls. Execute said plan and meet sales goals. Set individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team and provide ongoing trainingof the salespeople. Assist in recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
- Develop new avenues of marketing and lead generation. Equip the sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
- Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
- Develop and cultivate long-term relationships with prospective consumers andotherrelated industries to help strengthen partnerships. Leverage the existing network and expand the company’s product reach andrepeatbusiness through relationship building and exceptional customer experience.
- Collaborate with the team to properly coordinate project implementation, andcustomer service support interface, and proactively address problems/customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular feedback to management on market trends, competitive threats, andopportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
- Strategic reporting on all sales activities including sales and prospecting activities, salescalls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A diploma/degree in Sales & Marketing or a related field – froma reputable institution.
- A minimum of 3 years proven experience handling Fast-Moving Consumer Goods. (FMCG) with at least 1 year’s experience managing and directing a sales team.
- Spoken and written English communication with the highest standards ofprofessionalism is required.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management. Must be a fast learner, highly self-motivated, capable of producing high-impact workwithout supervision, adaptable, and self-confident.
- Creativity to solve problems and develop ideas to improve workflow and efficiency. Mental and emotional fortitude to thrive in a fast pace, high-production, performance- driven environment.
