Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Engineer - Procurement Officer located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to electrical engineering projects, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining quality standards in procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering skills
• Knowledge of Electricity, Power Distribution, and Power Systems
• Experience in procurement activities related to electrical engineering projects
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution
• Professional certification in electrical engineering is a plus
• BOQ and Project Estimation skills
• Strong negotiation and research abilities
• Experience in electrical engineering projects
• Purchase Orders and Procurement skills
• Strong knowledge of ERP system.
• Contract Negotiation skills
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience - 5 Years plus in the Electrical or MEP Company/Field.
• AutoCAD / Revit knowledge.
• In depth knowledge of Electrical LV HV Items.
• Knowledge of Substation and Power Distribution.
