Head of Sales & Marketing

  • The Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth and brand visibility for UMS Kenya by leading all sales and marketing functions. The role holder will develop and implement effective strategies to grow market share, build strong customer relationships, and position UMS Kenya as the preferred provider of prepaid utility metering solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sales Management
  • Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
  • Identify, develop, and convert sales leads into business opportunities.
  • Follow up on inquiries generated through customer service and marketing channels.
  • Manage walk-in customers and ensure high-quality customer engagement.
  • Drive direct sales of water, electricity, and gas meters and ensure timely payment processing in coordination with finance.
  • Undertake field visits to acquire new customers and expand market reach.
  • Recruit, manage, and support sales agents and resellers.
