Tool Room Technician
- Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of our esteemed client in the piping manufacturing sector, is looking for a qualified Tool Room Technician to join a dynamic and fast-paced production environment in Nairobi.
- This is an opportunity to contribute to a company that values quality, innovation, and operational efficiency.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that moulds and tools are installed correctly, machinery operates smoothly, and downtime is minimized.
Responsibilities
- Install and align moulds/tools according to production requirements
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
- Respond to fault reports and provide effective technical solutions
- Maintain accurate logs and follow all safety protocols
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth machine functionality
Remote work opportunities in Nairobi
What We’re Looking For:
- Diploma or Industrial Trade Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a process or manufacturing plant
- Strong ability to read manuals and technical drawings
- Experience with moulds, dies, or extruders is an added advantage
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and attention to detail
