Responsibilities

Optical Sales Assistant

We now have a vacancy for an optical sales assistant. Duties include:

  1. Technical knowledge of spectacle lenses, spectacle frames, contact lenses and accessories to be able to sell the appropriate product to each client with a high level of satisfaction
  2. Ability to sell to different types of clientele
  3. Be able to follow the administrative processes set by the company
  4. Be able to follow the evolving systems set in place by our various insurance partners
  5. Perform other tasks set by the management of the company in line with the position

Successful applicants must possess:

  1. Excellent written and spoken communication in English
  2. A positive personality
  3. Be flexible with small changes in the role offered. Additionally, applicants must be willing to work on Sundays.
  4. Have at least five years in optical sales, with at least three being with one employer.
  5. Be naturally inclined to ethical behaviour. This includes being punctual at work, attending work regularly, keeping promises made to the management, peers and customers, solving complaints by customers in a positive way, not using a personal mobile phone during work hours, and so on.
