Job Purpose

To provide strategic leadership, overall management, and administrative oversight of the TVET College, ensuring delivery of high-quality technical and vocational education and training in line with the TVET Act, 2013, and relevant national policies

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Technical Education, or relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Diploma or higher qualification in TVET-related fields is desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in TVET or education management, 3 of which must be at a senior leadership level.
  • Must be registered with TVETA and possess a valid Trainer’s License (or evidence of application).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the TVET Act, 2013, and education management policies.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of curriculum development and instructional methodologies.
  • Ability to manage resources efficiently and transparently.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • ICT proficiency and ability to lead digital transformation in TVET.
