Promoting occupational safety, health and environment within Bulkstream Operation areas, the HSE-GT will assist in enforcing the occupational safety and health requirements and promote environmentally sustainable operation.

• Gathers information that indicates the success of HSE and Supports the delivery of information against set key performance indicators.
• Within the context of role and the boundaries of remit, captures and shares knowledge from across the organization to the people working within the organization.
• Participate in incident investigation and management as part of team member.
• Supports and enforces the organization’s control of contractor procedures at the business site  level.
• Supports changes in the workplace under supervision by identifying potential hazards and risk with the changes.
• Participates in HSC activities and meetings.
• Identifies OSH hazards in the workplace including those that are transitory or are associated with work activity or work equipment and logs these to hazard register.
• Promotes and creates awareness on online hazard reporting.
• Conducts site inspections and safety tours in the company of HSE senior member to make sure that risk controls are being carried out effectively.
• Support the principle of sustainability (People, Planet and Profit) through collection and monitoring of environmental KPI data.
• Gathers feedback on possible continual improvement and register the same.

Academic Requirements & Experience

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering/Bachelor of biological/social/natural sciences or Occupational health and safety related.-Not more than two years after Graduation.
• Ability to operate computer effectively and the use of Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge & Competencies

• A basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and technical issues.
• Physically fit for long hours of site movement.
• Able to work with team members well and a team player.
• Ability to talk to people and facilitate Toolbox talks
