Description

Our client a world leader in the manufacturing of all types of cards for the banking/telecommunication industry is looking Finance & Administration Manager to be based in Dar es Salaam. He/she will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of all aspects of finance procedures & coordinating with all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the day to day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing & other transactions).
  • Manage the company’s financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies & regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax and other regulatory bodies on matters to financial transactions.
  • Ensuring compliance with local applicable laws and procedures.
  • Prepare and analyze accurate monthly financial and management reports, including income statement, balance sheet & budgets.
  • Coordinate with the finance team in HQ (Thailand) to ensure that monthly financial reports are completed on time.
  • Ensure that VAT, corporate tax and other statutory and regulatory tax are filed on time.
  • Preparation of annual statutory financial statements.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports required from time to time.
  • Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the implementation of an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
  • Make sure the assigned personnel for inventory management document daily deliveries & shipments to update inventory.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels and adjustments.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Analyse different supplies to obtain the best cost-effective deals.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant, registered member of
  • Must have a strong understanding of accounting theory.
  • Must be a Tanzanian national.
  • Must have 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a manufacturing industry.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized in work.
  • Excellent communication in English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and material management certificate will be an added advantage.
